Erasmus School of Philosophy (ESPhil) is a leading institution for philosophical research and teaching in the Netherlands. The faculty has an international orientation, strongly connected with universities abroad. Our research is internationally leading in our field and focused on four collaborative themes: The making of Modernity; Subjectivity and its discontents; Philosophy and economics; The structure of science and reality. As engaged scholars, the key signature of our research and education is our involvement with current philosophical and societal debates concerning global societal challenges.
