Do you want to have a closer look at the Human Microbiome Action project? Listen to this take of Joël Doré, Research Director at the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE), and project coordinator.

The aim of this ambitious European project is to assess the current scientific and medical knowledge on the microbiome and to identify the gaps that need to be addressed. In this unique endeavour, KPL is proud to be a partner of the Human Microbiome Action (HMA), a project funded and supervised by the European Commission and conducted by the INRAE. HMA has the ambition to decipher Human-microbes interplay, as it has been proven essential for the maintenance of health and well-being. Indeed, the profiling of microbiomes will become an essential feature of the personalized preventive nutrition and medicine of tomorrow, thus the critical need for Europe to be at the forefront of microbiome research. KPL’s contribution will allow the HMA to be in a leading position in the understanding of the microbiome by building an international consensus, thus fulfilling scientific, medical, and societal expectations.
