The twelfth Gut Microbiota for Health (GMFH) World Summit, organized by the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and the European Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility (ESNM), is set to take place in Washington, D.C. This year’s summit will concentrate on the exploration of the human gut microbiome’s impact on health and disease. A committee of renowned experts, under the leadership of co-chairs Gail Hecht from Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and Harry Sokol from Sorbonne Université in Paris, has crafted the program. Attendees can look forward to two keynote speeches, four plenary sessions, and two workshop sessions. The event also enjoys support from the AGA and ESNM, along with the endorsement of the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society (ANMS).
