The World Microbiome Partnership represents a new global platform aimed at uniting various stakeholders from academia, industry, foundations, and government within the extensive microbiome sector. Its mission is to foster vital collaborations among these groups and to standardize the advancement of microbiome-based biomarkers, products, and interventions benefiting human, plant, animal, and ecosystem health. The inaugural World Microbiome Partnership Congress is scheduled for December 12-14, 2024, in Paris, where members will elect the first WMP President, the Executive Committee, and the Chairs of the Working Groups.
